Ginisang Upo at Tauge
Dinner so simple and so good. Give it a try.
Ingredients:
3 lbs upo, peeled and slice bite size
1 lb beansprout
1/2 lb pork butt, sliced into bite size
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled
1 small onion, sliced thin
1 piece tomato, diced
4 cloves garlic, crushed
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon canola oil
Cooking Direction:
Saute garlic, onion and tomato in medium low heat.
Add sliced pork and saute until golden brown.
Add a cup of water and simmer till pork is fully cooked and soft to bite.
Add shrimp and 1 cup water.
Simmer for few minutes and season with salt and pepper.
Add upo and continue to simmer to 3-4 minutes.
Remove from heat. Now add the beansprout and mix.
Simmer for few minutes and remove from heat to avoid the beans sprout from over cooking.
